Newborn mentoring is something that has been so much fun for me! I love teaching, and helping other photographers grow as artists. Teaching others the proper way to handle and pose newborns is so important. Seeing someone do it is different than actually doing it. There are so many things to think about when photographing newborns. I go through each step and explain why and how to get there. We go over safety, lighting, angles, props, and camera settings. All the things that lead to a final image and help produce the style and look that the photographer is going for.
These images are from one of my teaching sessions. We had two amazing babies! We went over natural light as well as studio lighting. Both are so important to learn, and shouldn’t be scary to try both!
